This section is where I take the opportunity to express my opinions and experiences as I do not have the time to maintain a blog. Articles and commentaries will be posted on an intermittent basis and as time allows. 

     "Back from the Back of Bourke". An account of the "Outback Tour" in conjunction with the 2005 AVES Parrot Convention in Grafton, NSW, Australia. This includes photographs of various Australian avicultural breeding facilities. (10/10/2005)

    "A memorable day for an Ivorybillphile" -- describes the events of the day that the announcement was made of the rediscovery of the Ivory-billed woodpecker. Not quite an ordinary day. (06/01/2005)
